Title: Let’s Talk Sample Prep: Methods to Optimize and Fine-Tune Your Workflow for Single-Cell Applications
Speaker: Elle James, Miltenyi Biotec
Seminar Description and Registration
Flow cytometry, FACS sorting, and single-cell sequencing all depend on the quality of the starting material. This seminar will review techniques to optimize sample preparation for samples coming from tissue, blood, and other starting materials. Elle James will be available after the presentation to answer your questions.
Topics Include:
- Short- and long-term storage of samples
- Tissue dissociation for optimal yield and viability
- Removal of debris, dead cells, and other unwanted material from samples
- Pre-enrichment for higher resolution of target cell populations
- Isolation of nuclei from tissue samples
Lunch will be provided to registered attendees from 11:30 am to 12 pm. To register, visit https://bit.ly/FlowCoreApril26.
