PI Education: CCTR is available for general or project specific guidance.  In addition to one-on-one consultations, the Clinical Research Guide is also available to guide Investigators through the Research Process. 
Protocol Scientific Consultation: CCTR provides individual scientific consultations for investigator-initiated studies. Please note: a draft proposal or protocol must be submitted prior to the meeting. 
Research/Data Safety Monitoring Plan: CCTR assists investigator-initiated studies by providing remote/on-site interim monitoring visits, assisting in the creation of the data and safety monitoring plan, and the development, implementation and closure of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). If you would like to set up monitoring visits for your investigator-initiated studies, please contact Sarah Marie Huban.
FDA regulatory consultations are available to investigators interested in submitting a Pre-IND or IND application. 
Clinical Research Resources: CCTR provides investigators and their staff with research education. 
Research Administration Operations: CCTR partners with Emory and Children's to recognize and implement efficiencies between instituions and within individual research administration offices.
Clinical and Translational Research Growth: CCTR partners with invesitgators to connect bench scientists with clinicians to catalyze innovation between Emory and Children's.

CCTR Microgrants

The Center for Clinical and Translational Research (CCTR) is accepting applications for CCTR Microgrants. 
This grant provides funding for statistical support, conference travel, supplies, etc. to promote research. The program offers one-time grants of up to $1,500.  Grant requests may be submitted at any time through the streamlined application below. Proposals will be reviewed and discussed by CCTR leadership and funded on a rolling basis throughout the year. 

Eligibility:

  • Faculty or faculty on behalf of students.
  • No other funding available for this purpose.
  • For conference travel, recipient must be first author.
