Emory and CHOA build $90M research center
Construction is expected to start Wednesday on a $90 million Health Sciences Research Building on the Emory University campus. More than half of the center on Haygood Drive will focus on pediatric research through the Emory-Children's Pediatric Research Center, a partnership between Emory and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, according to Emory. The center, which is scheduled for completion in April 2013, will also work with Georgia Tech and Morehouse School of Medicine, according to Emory officials.
