Research from Pediatric Cardiologist Suggests Kids with Congenital Heart Disease are More Likely to Develop Autism
Wednesday, November 13, 2019 -- Kids with congenital heart disease are 32 percent more likely to develop autism according to research led by Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Pediatric Cardiologist Matthew Oster, M.D., M.P.H. The findings, published last month in Pediatrics, may lead to earlier detection of autism in congenital heart disease patients.
