The CARRA-Arthritis Foundation Small Grant is intended to support aid in the development and advancement of innovative basic, clinical and translational research projects that further the CARRA mission and align with priorities outlined in the 2026–2028 Strategic Plan and Research Agenda. Projects supported through this funding mechanism may support pilot projects, continuation or expansion of ongoing research activities, and other initiatives that generate new knowledge, address important questions in pediatric rheumatology, or advance collaborative research efforts. This may include early-stage investigations, feasibility studies, analyses that inform future research directions, or other activities that position investigators for subsequent funding opportunities. CARRA committee-led projects and collaborative research efforts are encouraged.
