Pediatric Research Development Core

The Pediatric Research Development Core (PRDC) has three overlapping arms of service for the Department of Pediatrics: Education and Training, Proposal Development, and Technical Editing. These three arms provide a support system to optimize a researcher's career at all career stages.

Education and Training forms a key component of the PRDC. Services include early career researcher writing consultations, educational workshops and trainings, and training grant development.

Proposal Development within the PRDC primarily focuses on complex, multi-project funding applications. Services include project management, coordination with Emory offices, and copyediting. Our proposal development arm also maintains Emory/Children's specific boilerplates.

Technical Editing includes general copyediting, proofreading, formatting, and referencing checking for fully drafted grants and manuscripts.

The PRDC also sustains collaborative relationships with Emory's Office of Research Development and Research Administrative Services, as well as managing the department's pilot funding programs.
