Technical Editing Services from the PRDC includes the following different types of services. Please note that all manuscripts and grants submitted for technical editing are fully drafted documents. Any researcher who needs substantial strategic advice related to their grant applications and manuscript preparations should review our early stage investigator services or our proposal development services. 

• Copyediting: edit, re-write and provide comments and suggestions on the cohesion or "flow" of the submission
• Proofreading: standardize grammar, spelling and syntax in accordance with academic English for all or part of the submission
• Formatting: change format of text and sections of manuscript or proposal in accordance with the style specifications of the submission
• Reference Checking: (surface-level edits): check format and comment on references and in-text citations to help authors comply with the style requirements of the intended audience
