Dr. Faber is the Congdon Family Chair in Cancer Research and co-leader of the Developmental Therapeutics program at the Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) Massey Comprehensive Cancer Center. Prior to coming to VCU, Dr. Faber received his Ph.D. from Boston College studying B cell metabolism in lymphomas and subsequently did his fellowship at Mass General Hospital studying targeted therapies in solid tumors. At VCU, the Faber laboratory is focused on identifying therapeutic vulnerabilities for subsets of solid tumors, in particular those that do not presently have targeted therapy options, and with an emphasis on sarcomas and neuroblastoma.
