"Plasma Profiling Links CD4 T Cell Differentiation Cytokines to HIV Reservoir Persistence in Children Living With HIV."
About Speaker: Ashish Sharma, PhD is an Assistant Professor in the Pathology Advanced Translational Research Unit at Emory University. With a background in neonatal immunology and systems biology, his research integrates wet-lab and computational methods to understand how immune cell differentiation states shape infectious/cancer disease persistence and therapy success. In this talk, he will present recent findings on how plasma cytokine profiles reflecting CD4 T cell differentiation are linked to HIV reservoir persistence in children living with HIV.
