"Role of CD8+ T cells on reservoir maintenance in infants"

Shahab Zaki Pour holds a Ph.D. in Microbiology from the University of São Paulo, where his research focused on host–pathogen interactions, transcriptomics, and the genomics of emerging viruses such as Zika, Yellow Fever, Dengue, and Chikungunya. He is currently a Postdoctoral Fellow at Emory University School of Medicine, Division of Pediatrics, working in the Mavigner Lab in Atlanta. His current research investigates the role of CD8⁺ T cells in HIV reservoir establishment and maintenance in pediatric infection.
