Speaker: Prashant Bajpai, PhD
Title: Deep spatial profiling of granuloma architecture and immuno-metabolic states in tuberculosis
Prashant Bajpai is a postdoctoral researcher at the Emory Vaccine Center at Emory University, working under the supervision of Dr. Jyothi Rengarajan. He completed his PhD at CSIR institute in Delhi, India before joining Dr. Rengarajan's lab. The primary focus of the laboratory is to understand the mechanisms of pathogenesis in tuberculosis and HIV. In the Rengarajan lab, Prashant contributes to multiple projects that require expertise in systems immunology and computational biology approaches. The major projects he is involved in focus on investigating immuno-metabolic events, granuloma dynamics, and spatial architecture in mouse and non-human primate models.
