The SolveSickle Research Retreat is a one-day retreat to promote collaboration among sickle cell researchers in the State. The specific objectives of the retreat are: a) Showcase research projects at the NIH R-series level in SCD in Georgia, b) Catalyze collaborations on R-series research projects in SCD in Georgia, c) Align individual R-series projects in the state to facilitate the development of team science research in SCD in the state, d) Discuss potential shared resources and facilities to promote state-wide team science in SCD.
We are looking forward to working with each of you to develop multiple team science programs on sickle cell disease in Georgia. This retreat is our first shot of making sure we engage all basic and translational researchers in the sickle cell space in Ga in the same room.
