Research
My interests focus on the psychophysiological indices (EEG/ERP, eye tracking) of sensory and cognitive processes and their use for understanding mechanisms of strengths and deficits in infants, children, and adults with developmental disabilities, including autism. A related line of research concentrates on the development of novel brain-based assessments for documenting sensory and/or cognitive functions independently of overt behavioral responses, making such assessments suitable for use in individuals with a wide range of intellectual and adaptive functioning.
