Biography

Ami Klin is the Director, Marcus Autism Center, Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. Dr. Klin is also a Georgia Research Alliance Eminent Scholar at Emory University and professor and chief of the Division of Autism and Related Disorders in the Department of Pediatrics at Emory University School of Medicine. Dr. Klin is an internationally recognized psychologist and researcher.

Research

Dr. Klin's primary research activities focused on the social mind and brain, and aspects of autism from infancy through adulthood. In his most noted work, Klin used eye-tracking technology to visualize and measure social engagement, allowing him to monitor infants who potentially have an autism spectrum disorder (ASD). His research goal is to identify individuals with ASD as early as possible so that potential therapies can have their maximal effect.
