Biography
Andres Camacho-Gonzalez is a board-certified pediatrician and pediatric infectious disease specialist. He directs the Pediatric Infectious Disease Fellowship Program within Emory’s School of Medicine, where he also serves as an Osler Society Advisor. The majority of his clinical work is devoted to children, adolescent and young adults with severe infections. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Camacho-Gonzalez’s research is committed to understanding how to support linkage to an retention in care and to explore ways to sustain viral suppression in adolescents and young adults living with HIV. He is also the local principal investigator for the International Maternal Pediatric Adolescent AIDS Clinical Trial Network at Emory.
