Research
The Doshi lab is interested in understanding the development of immune responses in bleeding and clotting disorders. Dr. Doshi’s work aims to identify B cell signatures that are altered in alloantibody responses to therapeutics and leverage these findings for therapeutic development. The laboratory conducts basic and translational studies focused on the development, persistence, and management of neutralizing anti-drug antibodies to protein replacement therapy and gene therapy in hemophilia. Their work has identified alternative treatment modalities and immunosuppressive regimens for the management of inhibitors in hemophilia A. Ongoing projects will evaluate mechanistic pathways in anti-drug antibody development to inform immunomodulatory regimens.
