Research
The goal of Dr. Welsh's research is to increase the understanding of the role of children's diets, particularly beverage intake patterns, on obesity and cardiovascular disease risk. Current studies focus on identifying and modifying the risks associated with added sugar and sugar-sweetened beverages consumption.
