Research

My research centers on two integrated areas: 1. improving mental health, healthcare self management, and healthy lifestyle behaviors among pediatric cancer survivors; and 2. leveraging technology and implementation science to develop and integrate evidence based supportive care and behavioral interventions into pediatric oncology practice. This work includes the use of electronic health record–integrated screening tools to deliver guideline concordant psychosocial and mental health care, as well as leading research on Cancer SurvivorLink (https://www.cancersurvivorlink.org), an electronic personal health record that supports lifelong survivorship care and patient engagement. Across these efforts, my work emphasizes digital health innovation and outcome driven clinical programming to advance high quality survivorship and supportive care.
