The Biohybrid System Laboratory aims to understand the coordination of muscular systems and their disease implications by designing and testing in vitro microphysiological systems (organoids, spheroids, organ-on-chips), with a specific emphasis on the electrophysiological activities of cardiac and skeletal muscle systems and translating findings into personalized disease diagnosis and treatment.
