Biography

As a Senior Research Specialist in Dr. Joshua Chandler’s lab at Emory University, I contribute strategically and technically to advancing the lab’s research and operational objectives. I oversee critical administrative functions—including lab organization, procurement, purchasing, inventory management, and instrumentation maintenance—ensuring seamless day-to-day operations and sustained research readiness.

At the bench, I perform essential biochemical assays (myeloperoxidase, BCA, LDH), transmigration experiments, and complex sample processing. I have led initiatives to optimize our sample processing pipeline, training team members and enhancing both efficiency and data quality. As my expertise in metabolomics continues to grow, I play a key role in front-end LC-MS workflows that support pivotal projects within both the lab and the PBMC Core.

Simultaneously, I am pursuing studies at Emory’s Goizueta Business School to build a strong foundation in strategic and operational management. I leverage my technical expertise, administrative skills, and expanding business acumen to support and elevate the broader functions of the lab and PBMC Core.
