Pricing (effective May 1, 2025)

​Animal Surgery (on-site, full-service): $106 per hour

Animal Surgery (off-site; surgeon only): $60 per hour

Surgical set-up/clean-up: $64 (Applies to all surgeries. Charged once per day regardless of the number of surgeries.)

Technical procedures (non-surgical): $60 per hour

Ultrasound: $145 per hour (self-service)  

Ultrasound: $205 per hour (full service) 

Ultrasound Analysis: $60 per hour (self-service)

Ultrasound Analysis: $90 per hour (full service)

Consultation/Protocol Development: $60 per hour

Hematology Analyzer (Sysmex): $8.50/sample

Training: $60 per hour (effective 5/1/25)

Training for independent equipment use or the development of a new procedure is provided for all users who are active users of the Animal Physiology Core.  A maximum of three hours can be billed at a reduced training rate.  Any usage beyond three hours will be billed based on published rates.

Subsidy Policy

The AP Core offers services to all researchers, but generous subsidies are offered for those investigators who are actively engaging in Pediatric research.  Please contact Dr. David Archer to determine eligibility.  The maximum 2024 subsidy per investigator is set at $5,000.
