Our core has a wide variety of equipment available for child health investigators to use. Please visit the pages below for further information:
- SOPs are available for the equipment and should be reviewed prior to use
- General Equipment is equipment that does not usually require further training or setup beyond initial sign up/requests
- Ultra Centrifuge equipment typically requires users complete required training before being allowed to sign up for sessions
- Vaisala Freezer Continuous Monitoring equipment allows investigators to obtain real-time data on freezers and to monitor and configure related alerts
- Our Collaborative Equipment database on Emory sharepoint has information on a multitude of machines at four levels of access
Access with owner approval – Use permitted only after receiving approval from the owning lab (advance scheduling may be required as determined by owning lab)
Access following required training – Use permitted once all required training has been completed
Access with cost-sharing – Use permitted with an agreed-upon financial contribution
Core-managed access – Equipment accessed through an established core facility
