The Emory + Children’s Health Informatics Core (CHIC) provides state-of-the-art informatics expertise to investigators looking to leverage electronic health record (EHR) data and related technologies for funded research, multicenter collaboration, and interventions to promote health in children.
 
The CHIC team is dedicated to streamlining the use of electronic health record (EHR) data for research, fostering innovation through collaborative efforts with researchers and technology developers, and providing robust technical infrastructure that accelerates all core activities. By integrating expertise in data delivery, innovation, and collaboration, CHIC advances technology-enabled care and ensures efficient, impactful research outcomes for pediatric health
 
CHIC is committed to supporting pediatric researchers.  To ensure the high quality of completed data requests and to maintain the viability of the core, we have implemented a subsidy application process for requests without adequate funding.
