Through the generous support of CHOA and the Emory Department of Pediatrics, the following activities are subsidized with no cost to investigators. 

• Initial Consultation
  • The initial consultation is subsidized for up to 1 hour per project. During the initial consultation meeting, the scope of the request and needed resources are determined.
• Grant Application
  • Statistical support for up to 8 hours for intramural and 16 hours for extramural grant applications is subsidized. The grant budget must include a biostatistics budget that is mutually agreed upon by the investigators and the biostatistician(s). 
• Full Project Subsidy for Analysis
  • Investigators with no or limited funding may be eligible to apply for up to 30 hours of biostatistics support through the Pediatric Biostatistics Award.

Projects using the subsidized support should add the following acknowledgment in their publications:

"The authors would like to acknowledge the institutional support of the Pediatric Biostatistics Core (RRID:SCR_025834) from Children's Healthcare of Atlanta and Emory University".  

• Grant funded: Biostatistical support related to a grant should be captured by a percent effort of the biostatistician on a grant application. 
• Agreement: Divisions, departments, and laboratories may purchase certain biostatisticians' time at a dedicated percent effort for collaborations on a consistent and regular basis.
• Invoice: For short-term projects or small grants with a limited budget, an invoice can be billed for $75/hour.
