Equipment

The PMBC includes equipment to perform ultra high-performance Liquid Chromatography/Tandem Mass Spectrometry (UHPLC-MS/MS) and Gas Chromatography/Mass Spectrometry (GC/MS), and high performance liquid chromatographs (HPLC) with fluoresecence, UV, and electrochemical detection. 

Specific equipment (list last audited July 15, 2026) includes:

  • Thermo Q Exactive High Field UHPLC-FTMS (orbitrap)
  • Thermo Exploris 120 UHPLC-FTMS (orbitrap)
  • Thermo Quantis UHPLC-MS/MS (triple quadrupole)
  • Thermo Stellar UHPLC-MS/MS (AI-assisted triple quadrupole)
  • Thermo ISQ 7000 GC-MS (single quadrupole)
  • Waters e2695 HPLC with 2489 UV and 2475 FL detectors
  • Waters e2695 HPLC with 2465 EC detector
