CF Discovery Core and CF Biospecimen Repository (CF-BR)

The CF Discovery Core and CF Biospecimen Repository (CF-BR) provide researchers with high-quality, patient-derived biospecimens (CF, healthy, and lung disease controls), linked clinical data, and expert consultation to accelerate CF research. Available samples include blood, sputum, cells, bacterial isolates, and other biologics, with specialized services such as standardized sputum processing for diverse research applications. By integrating longitudinal biospecimens, clinical insights, and interdisciplinary expertise, the CF Discovery Core enables groundbreaking research in CF pathophysiology and treatment response, ultimately driving innovations that improve patient outcomes.
